HOW POWERFUL WOMEN WAS BORN

My name is Dr. Carolina Billings founder of Powerful Women Today … and here is our story.
Ten years ago I woke up from a life lived in a constant fog, unclear of my purpose unfulfilled and unaware of my true potential. Feeling pressure to live by somebody else’s rules, following somebody else’s agenda and ultimately spending my time building somebody else’s dreams.
I searched for women role models and powerful women thought leaders that would offer a proven strategy through and beyond the lack of clarity and emptiness I was feeling. I needed to awaken to live on my own terms and tap into my own true value. I was looking for real, influential, independent, vulnerable and relatable women to collaborate with — but unfortunately I could not find them. Yet I knew I was not alone looking for a amazing group of women like this.
My disappointment in not being able to find the right support made me realize there must be other women trying to find a group like this as well. Women who are looking to find their own best-self and to also be able to find a place of empowerment, personal growth and business development too.
And that is how Powerful Women Today was born. It began as a passion project at first with a small group that grew into an amazing global movement of chapters around the globe.
Our mission is to Champion and Empower Women’s Emotional and Financial Independence working together, stronger together within the time, culture and society we are currently in. As we collaborate together we realize the powerful opportunities and see far beyond any barriers placed in front of us.

Empowerment is about taking action … No more apologies to anyone by any woman ever again when you embrace empowerment! Especially no apologies for being true to yourself and for going after what you want. Powerful Women are fierce defenders of joy, happiness and independence and honor themselves and their own decisions.
As women we are often taught in society be a good girl, get good grades, get a job, get married, and have children. But luckily times have changed for women today — we now have the choice to be powerful and live life by our own set of rules. Powerful Women’s greatest gifts are to trust their intuition and to learn to put themselves first so they can be the best unique version of themselves, and give back to the world — Unapologetically!
